Boy and Girl with Classic Haircuts

This boy and girl are cute as can be and rockin’ classic looks with updated twists.

Hairstyle 1 has our hero sporting a classic 1970s shag cut updated by razor-cut ends to soften the look of the style. The fringe is long (eye level) and the central parting gives the look a symmetry that emphasizes the texture of the hair. Style this look using a blow-dryer and brush with a styling gel and follow up with a touch of smoothing serum on the fingers and raked through the hair to smooth fly-away strands and give some definition to the locks at the ends.

Hairstyle 2 is a simple bob cut fully blunt with a narrow fringe zone that is crafted with a curved notch in the center of the forehead. The center parting gives the hair symmetry and the clean lines are perfect to balance the roundness of the childhood features. Style the look using a blow-dryer and flat brush with a soft-hold product and smoothing serum. Follow this up with a pass through a flat iron to smooth the locks.

"Everytime I have fabric leftovers, I have this huge urge of using it all. All I needed was regular blue denim and black denim which I got from Jonathan`s shirt & vest leftovers. I thought a vest would be fine, since denim is perfect for it and I didn`t had enough for a jacket… lol. The vest has a weird asymmetric shape on the back, I didn`t want it to be too rigid so that worked for me."

Fantastic job! I want to make one for myself also. For a more lightweight version you can use only denim shirts and regular mens suit shirts. The pattern is basically a regtangle piece with arm holes cut out.

Thakoon had some knit decorated hair in their Fall 2011 catwalk. Very trendy version of urban nomad-styling, looks friendly and warm and adds volyme to your do. Too bad I cannot try this with my short hair. Via Honestly WTF.

I´m always thrilled to discover new Finnish fashion talent, especially if the designer has a green philosophy. Introducing Poola Kataryna. The inspiration comes from living in Finland between Scandinavia and Russia and from mixing modern Scandinavian design heritage and decorative Slavic culture. Can you make it sound any more better than that?

Her collection called Odd Couture is my favorite. All the garments are made of macrame knotted 100% cotton jersey (handmade in Helsinki, Finland). The material is leftover from textile industry which is a material I think more designers with sustainable intrests should explore. Macrame is a craft technique that was popular in the 70´s but has regained popularity in the last years (more in fashion than in interior decor) due to the rise of new wave hippy chic trends. Even with the association to hippy crafts, Poola makes her clothes look modern and clean stylingwise. That just proves how versitile her collection and macrame technique is when the material is upgraded to today.

The guys at McQueen can just do no wrong. Every scheme that this brand produces just oooooooozes everything that you would expect from a luxury brand and yet everything one would hope for from everyone else. Of course, if everyone else produced the quality that this brand always delivers, perhaps it wouldn't be that special, hence the need for differentiation. Of course we're not asking that Primark present merchandise on artefact's from ancient Rome or that New Look delivers the stuff that they do, using antiques from Versailles, although how good would it all look hey? Gilt tables and mercury mirrors in abundance. Of course the only reason Gilt mirrors are called Gilt mirrors is because we feel so Gilt-y paying so much for them. At McQueen, you get what you pay for - the best and worth every penny.

Nonetheless, I've also encountered companies whose explicit policy is to only deal with other companies, not private individuals or sole traders.

It's a daft restriction, but it's also trivially easy to set up a limited company -- the small business advisor at your local bank will probably be able to help you with it if doing it yourself through Companies House seems a bit daunting. There are definite benefits over sole trader/self-employed, not least being the fact that no-one can come after your house in settlement of trade debts!
Oh, I agree that setting up a limited company is easy. (Doing it via Companies House is relatively straightforward. As far as talking to your local bank is concerned, that all depends on your local bank. Some are not as good as others.)
It is the floods of paperwork afterwards that is the problem. ;) :p
And does the OP intend to make a career of this? Then fine go ahead. But if this is a one off… well…

Way back when in the Stone Age when I started out, I never came across any company who wasn't willing to deal with me. If not they may have been dealing in bad faith from the start.

Don't buy the aluminum 24" imac with the 3.06 processor for gaming, the video card won't hold up. Ebay is full of these imacs being sold for bad/ dead video cards and no Apple is not doing nothing about extended repairs.
